Tributes to Canine Friends

Saphie

You came to us as an abandon dog who had obviously been cruelly treated by a man.

You are now the best dog in the world and are loved by everyone who knows you. You have a way of getting everyone to do what you require without being the slightest bit aggresive.

We are glad that you are now ours and we would not change you for the world and we hope you are with us for many years to come.

Skipper

October1986-March 2001

The last of our three lovely border collies, the youngest, cutest and liveliest.

Growing up the youngest you never felt the need to be aggressive towards anyone or anything, you constantly felt you were a human being only smaller, your needs where few.......love, walks, cuddles, food.

Your loves where to be with a companion or running with the horses.

You retained your good, youthful looks right to the end ......even fooling the vets. Unfortunately your physical body took it's toll ...but you will always remain in our memories as the little skipping dog.

Your greatest loves were being with Selina and running in the fields with Skipper and the horses.

Even through the pain of bone cancer you never complained or ever became grouchy or aggressive..

Yours was a special love and we know you are always around, still protecting.

Sammy

December 1985 - May 1995

Your life was short but you filled it with unconditional love for all the family.

You took great care of Selina, (your owner) and your little playmate Skipper..In spite of being timid yourself you would jump to their defence in an instant.

Mitch

October 1974 - March 1988

The first of our beautiful border collie dogs yours was an ever changing world with us. Finding yourself ousted by children then the different homes, the introduction of cats (not your favourite time) and then finally by other dogs.

You were such a brilliant, intelligent dog who took everything in your stride and could put your point of view in an argument but knew when to bow out reluctantly but gracefully.

Your loves where to protect your family, navigate for your master, to ensure he didn't get lost when driving, and the car that was your kennel, your space, your peace.
