Beautiful and bright
Hypnotic by day
Eerie by night
Two
like warm peaches
No fur to be seen
A manifestation
Of a cat lover's dream
One
with Black fur
To the others she's linked
All the same breed
The unusual sphynx
Five
rough tongues licking
Only two touching fur
Five cats sat grooming
A deafening purr
One
has some fur
but none on his back
Amazing blue eyes
In a face almost black
One
stands alone
No particular breed
Loving and soft
Is all that I need
Five
pairs of cats eyes
Are closed now in sleep
The emotions they arouse
Are loving and deep

Jackson
1983-1997
Immaculate 'Jackson'. When you came to live with me, everyone told me you where four years old.
You had extra large paws, so I nicknamed you 'Paddle paws'.
We had one great year together before you became ill and the vets told me the awful truth that you where actually about fourteen years old.
I will always remember your antics of sitting in the sink drinking the water from the tap.
Even though our time was short, it was great.

Our big fat ginger friend.
Not a bad bone in his body.
Big fat hairy 'Bagpuss'.
A total lack of aggression.
Demanded the warmer parts of the house.
Voracious appetite.
Died far too young, we will always miss him.
